Configuration

Most intermec handheld computers can add a carriage return by adding a postamble in Intermec Settings.

To get to Intermec Settings go to:

Start --> Settings --> System --> Intermec Settings

To add a Post-Amble inside Intermec Settings go to:

Data Collection --> Internal Scanner --> Symbology Options --> Postamble

Postamble: \x0D

CAUTION:

With the addition of WM 6.1 and WM 6.5 there has been an issue with .NET applications processing the post-amble carriage return as an event, causing it to not work correctly.

To fix this you can put the following file into the mobile devices '\Windows\' directory and then reboot the device.
